Japanese   -   Mushroom Relish   adapted from Japanese Cooking A Simple Art by Shizuo Tsuji

  • 7 Ounces Shiitake Mushrooms -- sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Sake
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Soy Sauce
Directions Mix sake and soy sauce in sauce pan. Add mushrooms, cover and simmer over low heat until liquid is amost gone. Serve.
