Japanese   -   New Potatoes With Elephant Garlic And Sprouts   adapted from Colette's Japanese Cuisine

  • 2 Pounds Red Potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Cloves Elephant Garlic -- Sliced
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 6 Ounces Daikon Sprouts -- Or Radish
Directions boil potatoes until tender. melt butter in large skillet. add cooked potatoes and garlic. saute until potato skins are brown, sprinkle with salt and pepper and sprouts and serve.
