Japanese   -   Sukiyaki (Japan)   adapted from unknown

  • 1 Pound Steak -- sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Beef Broth
  • 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Stalks Celery -- chopped
  • 4 Green Onion -- chopped
  • 1 Pound Mushrooms -- sliced
  • 8 Ounces Bamboo Shoots -- sliced
  • 4 Cups Spinach -- torn
  • Cooked Rice
Directions Combine broth, soy sauce and sugar, set aside.
Saute celery and green onions in oil. Push vegetable to side, add mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Add meat, fry until done. Add broth mixture, Add spinache until it wilts. Serve immediately over rice.
