Korean   -   Miso Pork (Jaeyuk Gui)   adapted from Traditional Korean Cooking by Chung Hea Han

Ingredients
  • 1 Pound Pork -- cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Miso
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 3 Medium Scallion -- finely chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger -- finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Sherry
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Medium Bell Pepper -- finely chopped
  • 10 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Large Onion -- finely chopped
  • 1 Large Tomato -- finely chopped
Directions Marinate pork in soy sauce, red miso, sugar, sesame seeds, green onion, ginger, sherry and sesame oil for 30 minutes. Fry pork and remaining ingredients until pork is well browned. Serve over rice.
