Korean   -   Spiced Crab Soup (Denjang Jiege Keh)   adapted from The Korean Kitchen by Copeland Marks

  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Miso
  • 1 Teaspoon Hot Chili Powder
  • 1 Inch Ginger -- finely chopped
  • 1 Small Onion -- sliced
  • 1 Clove Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Pound Crab -- chopped
  • 1 Small Zucchini -- sliced
Directions Put the water and bean paste into a pan and simmer over low heat, covered, for 15 minutes. Now add all the other ingredients and cook for 15 minutes more. Serve in 4 bowls with rice.
