Ingredients
  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 Medium Onions -- finely chopped
  • 3 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Stalk Celery -- finely chopped
  • 2 Medium Eggs -- beaten
  • 1/3 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion -- finely chopped
  • 1 Pound Tomatoes -- finely chopped
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Allspice
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Cups Water
Directions Mix together beef, onions, garlic and celery. Add eggs, bread crumbs, pepper, allspice and salt. Shape into 1 inch meatballs and set aside. Heat oil in skillet and fry onion for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, allspice, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add water and bring to a boil. Add meatballs to the sauc eand cook for 15 minutes.
Serves 4
