Ingredients
  • 1/2 Pound Chorizo
  • 2 Medium Onions -- chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- chopped
  • 1 Can Green Chiles -- chopped
  • 8 Flour Tortillas
  • 2 Cups Monterey Jack Cheese -- grated
  • 1 Can Refried Beans
  • 4 Jalapeno Peppers -- chopped
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  • Sour Cream
Directions Cook the sausage, onions & garlic until no longer pink, drain. Stir in green chiles. Heat oven to 400*. Grease 10" pie plate. Place 2 tortillas in pie pan, put 1/2 sausage in layer, 1/2 cheese, 2 tortillas on the cheese, then beans, 2 more tortillas, jalepenos, 2 tortillas, rest of sausage, rest of cheese. Cover and bake 40 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 more, until cheese is melted. Serve with salsa, guacomole and sour cream if desired.
