Morrocan - Seksu Tanjaoui (Tangier Couscous)

Ingredients

- 1 Can Chickpeas
- 4 Cups Couscous -- Cooked
- 1 Pound Lamb -- Cubed
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 Pinch Saffron
- 1 Pinch Cayenne
- 3 Medium Onion -- Sliced
- 2 Sprigs Parsley -- Chopped
- 2 Sprigs Cilantro -- Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Quart Chicken Broth

Directions
|
Place lamb, salt, pepper, ginger, saffron, turmeric, cayenne, onions, parsley, cilantro and butter in a sauce pan. Saute for 5 minutes. Add broth and simmer for 1 hour. Add chickpeas and heat through, Serve over couscous.
