Ingredients
  • 3 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
  • 4 Large Onion -- Chopped
  • 4 Large Leeks -- Chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Cups Cabbage Shredded -- Optional
  • 2 Medium Turnip -- Chopped
  • 2 Large Carrot -- Chopped
  • 3 Large Potato -- Chopped
  • 2 Large Bay Leaf
  • 1 Teaspoon Marjoram
  • 1 Teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 1 Quart Chicken Broth
  • 2 Cups Spinach -- Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Parsley -- Chopped
Directions saute onions, garlic and leeks in oil for 15 minutes; add cabbage, turnips, carrots, potatoes; herbs, nutmeg, salt and pepper; saute 20 minutes; add broth, simmer 40 minutes; add spinach and parsley, simmer 10 minutes and serve.
