Ingredients

- 3 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
- 4 Large Onion -- Chopped
- 4 Large Leeks -- Chopped
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Cups Cabbage Shredded -- Optional
- 2 Medium Turnip -- Chopped
- 2 Large Carrot -- Chopped
- 3 Large Potato -- Chopped
- 2 Large Bay Leaf
- 1 Teaspoon Marjoram
- 1 Teaspoon Thyme
- 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary
- 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
- 1 Quart Chicken Broth
- 2 Cups Spinach -- Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Parsley -- Chopped

Directions
|
saute onions, garlic and leeks in oil for 15 minutes; add cabbage, turnips, carrots, potatoes; herbs, nutmeg, salt and pepper; saute 20 minutes; add broth, simmer 40 minutes; add spinach and parsley, simmer 10 minutes and serve.
