Ingredients

- 1 Can Kidney Beans
- 3 Medium Onions -- Chopped
- 4 Medium Leeks -- Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 Medium Potato -- Cubed
- 4 Medium Carrots -- Chopped
- 6 Medium Turnip -- Cubed
- 2 Quarts Chicken Broth
- 1 Large Bay Leaf
- 1/2 Pound Smoked Ham -- Cubed
- 1/2 Pound Pepperoni Or Chorizo -- Chopped
- 1/2 Pound French-style green beans
- 1 Can Tomatoes -- Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Macaroni
- 3 Tablespoons Parsley
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste

Directions
|
saute onions and leeks for 12 minutes in oil; add potatoes, carrots and turnips, saute 5 minutes; add broth, bay leaf, ham and pepperoni, simmer 20 minutes; add green beans, cook 10 minutes; add tomatoes, kidney beans, simmer 10 minutes; add remaining ingredients, cook until pasta is aldente, and serve.
