Russian   -   New Potatoes Braised In Sour Cream   adapted from Please to the Table

  • 2 Pounds New Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
  • 3 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Dill -- finely chopped
Directions Parboil the potatoes in salted boiling water until tender about 8 minutes. Drain. Transfer potatoes to a saucepan, add broth, sour cream, salt and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add garlic and simmer for another 5 minutes. Toss with dill and serve.
