Ingredients

- 2 Large Leeks -- Chopped
- 1 Large Carrot -- Chopped
- 1 Stalk Celery -- Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 6 Cups Chicken Stock
- 1/2 Cup Barley
- 1 Medium Turnip -- Chopped
- 1 Small Cabbage -- Chopped
- 2 Pounds Chicken -- Cooked And Shredded
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
- 3 Tablespoons Parsley -- Chopped

Directions
|
Saute leeks, carrots, and celery in butter for 5 minutes. Add stock, barley, turnip and cabbage. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add chicken, salt, pepper and parsley. Simmer for 5 minutes and serve.
