South African - Asparagus Bredie

Ingredients

- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Medium Onions -- Sliced
- 3 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
- 2 Pounds Meat -- Chicken Or Lamb
- 1 Cup Stock
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
- 2 Pounds Asparagus
- 3 Medium Pototes -- Sliced
- 1 Lemon Lemon Juice

Directions
|
saute onions meat and garlic in oil for 10 minutes; add stock, salt and pepper, cover and simmer 10 minutes; add potatoes, cover, simmer 20 mintues; add asparages, cover and simmer 7 minutes, remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, serve over rice.
