South African   -   Braised Chicken With Green Chiles (South Africa)   adapted from Traditional African Cooking

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Chicken Breasts -- diced
  • 1 Large Onion -- chopped
  • 1 Cup Chicken Stock
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
  • 2 Medium Serrano Pepper -- chopped
Directions saute chicken and onion in olive oil until both are well browned. add remaining ingredients. simmer for 45 minutes. serve.
