Spanish   -   Pochas A La Riojana   adapted from The Complete Spanish Cookbook

  • 1 Pound Broadbeans
  • 1 Small Onion -- finely chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 3 Ounces Serrano Jamon -- finely chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Sweet Paprika
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
Directions Rinse and drain the beans. Saute onions, garlic and ham in oil until softened. Add beans and paprika. Cook for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Add water if necessary. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
