Swedish   -   Baked Brown Swedish Beans   adapted from Our Immigrant Ancestors

  • 2 Cups Dried Brown Beans -- cooked & drained
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup White Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Stick Cinnamon
Directions To the same pot you cooked eans in, add all ingredients. Stir & simmer uncovered for 1 hour. Remove cinnamon stick & serve.
