Ingredients

- 2 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
- 4 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
- 2 Medium Thai Chiles -- chopped
- 1/2 Pound Pork -- shredded
- 1/2 Pound Small Shrimp -- shelled
- 8 Medium Scallions -- chopped
- 1 Can Bamboo Shoots
- 3 Small Carrots -- julienned
- 12 Small Black Chinese Mushrooms -- sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
- Salt And Pepper -- to taste
- 2 Teaspoons Sugar
- 1 Pound Rice Vermicelli

Directions

In large pan heat oil, saute garlic and chles until soft. Add pork, cook 8 minutes. Stir in shrimp, scallions, bamboo shoots, carrots and mushrooms, fry 5 minutes. In small bowl, combine: fish sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar, stir well. In another bowl, soak vermicelli 10 minutes in hot water. Drain. Add vermicelli and fish sauce mixture to stir fry, mix well, saute 2 minutes. Serve.
