Thai   -   Sauteed Mushrooms With Pork (Paht Heht)   adapted from Real Thai

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Small Shallot -- thinly sliced
  • 1 Small Onion -- thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Pound Pork -- cut into strips
  • 1 Pound Oyster Mushrooms -- chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon White Pepper
Directions Heat a skillet with oil, add garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add shallot and onion, stir fry 1 minute. Add pork and saute for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and saute for 1 minute. Add fish sauce, water and pepper. Saute for 1 minute. Serve with rice.
Serves 4
