Thai   -   Shrimp With Rice Noodles   adapted from The Complete Hot and Spicy Cookbook by Emma Callery

Ingredients
  • 1 Ounce Bacon -- chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro -- chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger -- chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Pepper
  • 6 Large Shrimp
  • 3 Cloves Garlic -- minced
  • 5 Cups Glass Noodles
  • 1 Teaspoon Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Black Soy Sauce
  • 3 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Brandy
Directions Combine ingredients from chicken stock to the bottom of list in pan, boil 5 minutes to create a sauce. Saute bacon, ginger, pepper, shrimp and garlic 1 mintues. Add noodles, saute 1 minutes. Add butter, soy sauce and sauce you have created. Bring to boil, boil 5 minutes.
