Thai   -   Spring Roll Sauce (Thai)   adapted from Keo's Thai Cuisine

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Fish Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Red Pepper
  • 2 Small Carrot -- shredded
Directions In a saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Stir in vinegar, fish sauce, red pepper. Pour sauce into a serving bowl. Chill and top with carrot.
Serves 2
