Tunisian - Tunisian Macaroni

Ingredients

- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Pound Beef -- cubed
- 2 Cloves Garlic -- finely chopped
- 1/4 Cup Chickpeas -- cooked
- 2 Stalks Celery -- finely chopped
- 5 Sprigs Parsley -- finely chopped
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 3 Cups Water
- 1 Pound Macaroni

Directions
|
Heat oil in pan and add beef, garlic, chickpeas, celery, parsley, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Fry over moderate heat for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups water, cover and cook for 30 minutes. Add the rest of the water, bring to a boil and add the pasta. Cook for 15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked. Serve.
