Turkish   -   Azerbaijani Pilaf (Turkey)   adapted from unknown

  • 2 Cups Rice
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth
  • 32 Ounces Broad Beans
  • 3 Tablespoons Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Bunches Dill
  • Salt -- to taste
Directions Melt butter add water, flour, lemon juice, Add broad beans. Boil, reduce heat, cook 40 minutes. Add beef broth to pan, Boil, reduce heat, Soak rice for 10 minutes in hot water. Drain. Saute rice, then add along with remaining ingredients to the other mixture, cook until rice is done., and has absorbed the water.
