Turkish - Cabbage Stew Ith Lamb And Jalapenos (Kapuska)

Ingredients
|
- 1 Pound Lamb Or Beef -- cubed
- 3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 3 Large Onions -- finely chopped
- 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- 2 Large Tomatoes -- chopped
- 2 Cups Beef Stock
- Salt And Pepper -- to taste
- 1 Medium Cabbage -- shredded
- 4 Large Jalapeno -- chopped

Directions

Saute meat in butter for 10 minutes. Add onions and saute 5 minutes. Stir in red pepper, paprika, and tomatoes. Cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup stock, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. When meat is cooked, stir in cabbage and jalapenos, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining stock, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with a good chunk of bread.
