Turkish   -   Chickpea Rice Pilaf   adapted from The Sultan's Kitchen by Ozcan Ozan

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chick Peas
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Small Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 1/2 Cups Rice
  • 1 Can Tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chicken Stock
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
Directions Saute onion in butter for 5 minutes. add rice, saute 2 minutes. add remaining ingredients, and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve.
