Turkish   -   Feta Cream Cheese Rolls   adapted from Classical Turkish Cooking by Ayla Algar

  • 9 Ounces Feta Cheese -- crumbled
  • 6 Ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/3 Cup Parsley -- chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Chives -- chopped
  • 2 Small Eggs -- beaten
  • Filo Dough
Directions Mash cheeses with a fork. Mix in herbs and eggs. Cut Filo dough in half. Cut one stack into 3 equal parts. Using one strip of dough, add 1 tablespoon of filling to dough and roll. Butter the dough and repeat until all the strips are used. Place roll seam down on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
