Turkish - Turkish Beef Pastries

Ingredients

- 3 Tablespoons Peanut Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1 Large Onion -- finely chopped
- 1/4 Cup Pine Nuts
- 2 Cloves Garlic -- chopped
- 3/4 Teaspoon Ground Allspice
- 1 Large Green Pepper -- chopped
- 2 Jalapeno -- chopped
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1 Large Tomato -- chopped
- 1/2 Cup Parsley -- chopped
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dill Weed
- Salt And Pepper
- Phyllo Dough
- Unsalted Butter -- melted

Directions

Saute onions, pine nuts & cumin until onions begin to brown. Add garlic and allspice, cook 1 mnute. Add peppers, and meat. Simmer until meat browns. Add tomatoes simmer 5 minutes. Add herbs, salt and pepper. Filling should be moist but not watery. cut phyllo stack legnthwise into 3 strips. Place 1 TBSP filling at end of stiip fold into triangles. Place in bakign pan seam side down. brush tops with butter. Bake 25 minutes at 350*
