Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Pound Chorizo -- Chopped
  • 1 Pound Venison -- Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Medium Onion -- Chopped
  • 4 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Celery Seeds
  • 6 Cups Beef Broth
  • 2 Cups Black Beans -- Cooked
  • 2 Cups Tomatoes
  • 2 Medium Bay Leaf
  • 2 Medium Poblano Peppers -- Roasted And Chopped
  • 1 Large Jalapeno -- Roasted And Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Cumin
  • 1 Ta Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Epazote Or Oregano
Directions Heat oil in skillet, add chorizo and venison. Add half the salt and cook until well browned. Add onions, garlic and celery seeds. Cook until onions are browned. Add broth, beans, tomatoes and bay leaves. Cover, simmer for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, stir, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with sour cream and bread.
