US Regional   -   Georgia Sauce   adapted from Barbecuing and Grilling

  • 1 1/2 Cups Tomato Puree
  • 1 Cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Oil
  • 1/3 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar -- packed
  • 1/4 Cup Molasses
  • 3 Tablespoons Mustard
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Lemon Lemon Juice
Directions Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Slowly simmer for 15 minutes. Stir often to prevent sauce from burning. Allow sauce to rest for 1 hour for flavors to meld. Use on any meat.
