US Regional   -   Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahimahi (Hawaii)   adapted from Culinaria United States

  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 Cup Macadamia Nuts -- Finely Chopped
  • 4 Large Mahimahi Fillets
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 4 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 Large Egg -- Beaten
  • Oil -- For Sauting
Directions Combine bread crumbs and nuts in bowl. Season fish with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, then in egg, then into bread mixture. Saute fish in oil for 4 minutes per side and serve.
