US Regional   -   Million Dollar Fudge (Pennsylvania)   adapted from Culinaria United States

  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Ounces Evaporated Milk
  • 5 1/2 Sticks Unsalted Butter
  • 12 Ounces Chocolate Chips
  • 7 Ounces Marshmallow Cream
  • 1 1/2 Cups Pecans -- Chopped And Optional
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Directions Combine sugar, milk and butter in large saucepan. Heat to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add chips and marshmallow cream. Stir until smooth. Add nuts and vanilla. Transfer to a greased 9 inch square pan. Let stand until firm. Serve.
