Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 Large Onion -- finely chopped
  • 3 Stalks Celery -- finely chopped
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1 Cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar -- packed
  • 1 Cup Beef Stock
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Medium Bay Leaf
  • 2 Teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons Cayenne
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
  • Salt -- to taste
Directions Melt butter in saucepan and sauce onion, celery, and garlic until soft. About 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow sauce to rest for 1 hour. Good with any meat.
