Vietnamese   -   Stir-Fried Pork & Celery (Vietnam)   adapted from Classic Main Courses

  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Pound Pork -- cubed
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Cups Mushrooms
  • 1 Cup Cabbage -- shredded
  • 4 Stalks Celery -- thinly sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Chicken Stock
  • 1 Teaspoon Corn Starch
  • Rice Or Noodles
Directions Use half oil to strr fry pork in wok, 3 minutes, add soy sauce and sugar, 2 minutes, remove and keep warm.
Add oil to wok, and stir fry vegetables, 2 minutes, Add fish sauce, broth 1 minute, cover, simmer 2 minutes, add pork mixture and corn starch stir to thicken, stir over rice or noodles.
Serves 4
