Ingredients

- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Small Asian Eggplants -- Chopped
- 1 Bunch Scallion -- Chopped
- 2 Medium Jalapeno -- Chopped
- 2 Medium Carrot -- Chopped
- Hot Sauce -- To Taste
- 1 Cup Beef Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
- 1/2 Teaspoon Anise Seed -- Ground
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Basil -- Chopped
- Rice Or Noodles -- Cooked

Directions
|
Saute beef until brown, add oil, eggplant, scallions, jalapenos, and carrots. Saute for 5 minutes. Add hot sauce, broth, soy sauce, fish sauce, anise and cinnamon. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add basil and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
