Vietnamese   -   Won Ton Noodles   adapted from Vietnamese Cuisine by Muoi Thai Loangkote

  • 1/2 Pound Ground Pork
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 2 Teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 Package Won-Ton Wrappers
  • 4 Ounces Ramen Noodles
  • 8 Ounces Chinese Barbecued Pork
  • 1 Bunch Green Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Bunch Cilantro -- Chopped
  • 5 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
Directions Combine pork, salt, pepper, oil, water and cornstarch. Divide into 24 portions. Wrap in a wonton wrapper and seal the edges with water. Bring stock, salt, sugar, and fish sauce to a boil, add wontons, pork, cilantro and scallions, simmer for 5 minutes. Add ramen noodles and simmer for 3 minutes. Serve.
