Israeli and Jewish   -   Whipped Apple Dessert (Israel)   adapted from unknown

  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon Apple Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Apple Sauce
Directions Whip egg whites into a thick foam, add 1/2 cup sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, apple juice and vanilla. Whip again, add remaining sugar and whip to a thick, stiff foam. Grease individual glass baking dishes, and fill with eggwhite mixture. Bake in 275* degree oven for 1 hour. Remove and allow to cool. Combine cinnamon and apple sauce, and spread over dessert. Serve.
