Norwegian   -   Sauteed Plaice Or Flounder   adapted from Classic Scandinavian Cooking By Nika Hazelton

  • 4 Large Plaice Or Flounder Fillets
  • Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
  • 1 Medium Egg -- Beaten
  • 1 Cup Flour Or Bread Crumbs
  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • Dill -- Chopped
Directions Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Dip fillets into egg and coat in flour or crumbs. Heat butter in skillet and saute fish until golden brown all over. About 5 minutes per side. Sprinkle with dill and serve with boiled potatoes.
